Hey Howdy Hey Angela,
I am thrilled you stopped by planDisney. It looks like you are counting the days to a spooktacular visit to
Walt Disney World Resort. A great thing about a late October visit, is you will be able to enjoy the last few days of fall decor before Mickey Mouse and his helpers swoop in and begin decorating for the holidays. Depending on how long you are staying, you could enjoy
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and one of the first nights of
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It is like the trifecta of Disney magic!
We love visiting
Disney Springs and often plan at least one or two days there during our vacations. There are so many great places to shop and dine, plus all of the fun entertainment options, it is hard to see and do everything. The great news is
self-parking is always complimentary at Disney Springs and while hours are subject to change, generally the garages are open until 2am EST. Overnight parking is not permitted and vehicles left overnight will be towed. One more reminder, parking is for Guests visiting Disney Springs so I caution against leaving your vehicle at Disney Springs and venturing elsewhere. Plus it is not a great use of time as there is no direct
Disney bus that runs from Disney Springs to the theme parks and the Disney buses do not begin running to the Disney Resorts until around 10:30am EST.
I hope this helps get you on your way. If I can help with any additional planning questions, please stop back and
see me.
With pixie dust,
Margaret
