Hello, we are going in late october 22-30, what should we expect about the weather, what do we pack? Thanks for you help

Hello there Rocio!  Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! My family traditionally visits the "Most Magical Place on Earth" over Columbus Day Weekend and have always found the weather to be ideal for park touring and also enjoying our Walt Disney World Resort pool. The average high temperature for Orlando in October is usually in the mid 80s with an average low temperature in the mid 60s. When we visited last year, we wore shorts and short-sleeved tops during the day and brought a sweater or light jacket into the parks at night. With that being said, we visited in October a few years ago and actually needed pants and jackets throughout the day and evening due to a cold front that came through. I would recommend bringing clothing items that can be layered, a pair or two of pants, a light jacket or sweater, shorts, swim suits, ponchos and comfortable walking shoes. I am happy to report that the pools at the Walt Disney World Resorts are heated year-round. Be sure to check the local forecast in the days leading up to your trip so that you can pack accordingly. I hope this information is helpful! Please feel free to visit us again with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Rocio!
    Happy Packing,
    Jodie
