We have late dinner reservations at O'hana on 10/11 (the only available time was 9:20). What are the chances of being able to get an earlier reservation day of or walk in?

    Hi there Melissa!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I am so excited, but also a little envious that you will be dining at my favorite Walt Disney World Restaurant on Friday! I actually ate there myself last Friday and enjoyed the delicious dinner and amazing service just as much as I did on my first visit!

'Ohana is one of the most popular restaurants on property; therefore, it can be very difficult to find availability at the last minute. I have tried unsuccessfully in the past to secure a walk-up reservation. With that being said, I don't think it ever hurts to try. I would recommend that you keep checking back either online or by calling Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE as someone may cancel their Advanced Dining Reservation in order to prevent being charged the cancellation fee. I have also had to take a late Advanced Dining Reservation for 'Ohana on a previous trip due to limited availability. Although I was worried about my four children being able to wait that late, they actually did really well and the timing turned out perfectly for viewing Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from inside the restaurant.  Since then, my family enjoys to be in the dining room during the firework display because the lights are dimmed and the music is piped into the restaurant. It truly makes for a magical experience!

If you do not find an earlier Advanced Dining Reservation, I would advise you to still arrive a little early. We usually wait approximately 15-20 minutes after checking-in at the hostess stand, before we are actually seated at our table. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write back if you have any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Melissa!

    Bon Appétit,
