We have a late addition to our already large party and can't seem to get them added to any of our dining reservations. Do you have any suggestions for getting them to be able to participate in our dining adventures?

Hello, Jean! It sounds like you have a big family gathering coming up at The Most Magical Place on Earth! While traveling with a large group is always fun, it can present some planning challenges, especially when making dining reservations. Not to worry, as the Disney Parks Moms Panel is here to the rescue!

Guests can now change certain aspects of their Dining Reservations via their My Disney Experience Accounts. You'll find this option listed on the right of your reservation information- just click the blue link to "Change Reservation" (on the mobile app it says "Modify"). It is much harder to add guests though, as it is based upon availability only. You can also call Disney Dining at (407) 939-1947 and ask if it's possible or see if there is a different dining location that may have availability to accommodate your party.

Another idea is to have your friend or family member make a reservation for just themself at a similar time. Then I would suggest speaking with the dining location upon arrival to see if they can make accommodations and seat that person with your party. Since you'll all have reservations, it likely won't be an issue. For hard to get reservations, I have used the Reservation Finder Tool on the subscription-based Touring Plans website. It's straightforward to use, and I successfully scored one for Oga's Cantina yesterday!

Best of luck, Jean! Please write back if there's anything else we can do. Happy Holidays!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
