This last year XMAS week for the first time the parks were extremely crowded. Disney closed not lettign anyone else in. For 2-4 adults with no kids what month is good to come for low crowds and decent weather? Will be coming in 2011 again own a timeshare.

    Hi Tina!

You're right - Christmas week to New Years is a busy time at Walt Disney World! The best rule to follow for busy times is: When schools are on vacation, the parks will be busiest.  This includes spring break, Easter week, and Thanksgiving.

Some of our favorite times to busy with less crowds are during late September/early October and early December.

The September/October includes Halloween decorations at the Magic Kingdom and usually the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. The weather is wonderful this time of year as well! We love that its hot enough to swim, but not so hot that we feel like we're melting!

Early December usually has great weather as well, and we enjoy the holiday decorations at all of the Parks - minus the crowds that come later in the year!

For more in depth crowd level analysis, I am a fan of Touringplans.com. While this is a paid resource, it is a great tool to use if you'd like to avoid all of the crowds!

Hope you have a great time planning for your upcoming trip!
