Hi last year we stayed at pop century and opted out of housekeeping and took the 10$ per night voucher can we do this in port orleans riverside? Also we have a booked a garden view 5th sleeper does that guarantee the Murphy bed?

    Hi Nathalie,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your trip starts in less than two weeks! I'm so excited for you!

Opting out of Mousekeeping is possible at value and moderate resorts so, yes, you should be able to do this at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside as well. Be sure to ask the Cast Member assisting you if this is an option in case they do not offer this to you.

Rooms that offer the 5th sleeper option do come with a child-sized pull-down bed. I've used this bed myself in the past and it was pretty comfortable, although, as the official description states, it is meant to be used by a child.

Nathalie, I am so happy for you! Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside is one of my favorite resorts. You will love its food court, lobby, gift shop, pool, everything! If you get a chance, go visit Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter and you will fall in love with that resort as well.

I hope you find this information useful. Please, continue to bring us any question you may have. We love to help!

    See ya real soon,
    ~Desiree

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
