    Last year, MK stayed open until 1:00 a.m. the night we were there (not Extra Magic Hours) Why is MK closing at 10:00 p.m. in June this year?

    Hi Sherri!

    Congrats on coming back to Walt Disney World this year! The hours for all of the parks at Walt Disney World vary based on the expected crowd levels, special events and Extra Magic Hours.

    I reviewed the Magic Kingdom calendar for June 2012, and it appears that the park is open until 1:00 a.m. on select days, under the Extra Magic Hours program and closes at 10:00 p.m. on other nights. Disney reserves the right to change the closing times of the park, so there may be dates in which the park is open until 1:00 a.m. under regular park hours as June nears. Check back on the site and make sure to pick up a Times Guide when you arrive for the latest times.
