    Last year the dates of MVMCP was released on May 1, 2013, do you have an idea when they will be released this year. We are going to in Disney the week of Nov 25, 2014. and are planning our nights to be ready to make dinning on reservations on May 29, 1

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel, Mitzi! Thank you so much for your question.

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) is my favorite special event at Walt Disney World. My best guess on when they will release the date is within the next couple of days. Last year, the dates were released on May 8 and the year before that it was May 2. The blog-o-sphere has lots of rumors but I think it would be safe to say you can expect an announcement any day now.

    While you wait there are a couple of ways to get a good idea of when the parties are going to be:
    • Look at the Magic Kingdom park hours for the dates of your trip (if they have been posted). If you see the Magic Kingdom closing at 7:00 p.m., that is a good indication of a MVMCP day.
    • Check out EasyWDW.com - they have calendars from previous years which will also give you a hint as to when MVMCP will take place. You should remember, each year there are slight tweaks to the schedule so you should only use these calendars as a guideline.

    The best way to be one of the first in the know about MVMCP tickets is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. They will be the first to announce the dates and when the tickets go on sale.
