    Our last viisit to WDW was the wk before Easter (April 2006). Parks were very crowded even w/ EMH. Planning to try this time in fall (mid Oct 08) instead. Are the crowds typically lighter this time of year? We really want to go when it's less crowded. Thx!

    The weeks surrounding Easter are some of the most crowded at WDW. Many children all over the country are out of school then on spring breaks. And when school's out, Disney World fills up. The early part of the fall, September and October, typically have much lighter crowd levels than the spring.

    I think mid-October is a great choice!
