The last two years we have bought something unique for my 13 year old, artistic daughter. We bought a pearl in Japan and made a necklace and then we got her name carved in a ring outside of Mexico. What unique ideas would you suggest for our visit in May

    Hi Bonnie,

There are many opportunities to purchase unique and personalized merchandise at Walt Disney World. Here are some artsy ideas for a creative young lady:

    - Create a custom t-shirt at the Hanes Design-A-Tee store at Downtown Disney
    - Have a paper silhouette created of you daughter's profile. Available at the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Downtown Disney.
    - Have caricature or fine art pastel drawing created of your daughter. Available in many WDW locations.
    - Have a holiday ornament custom painted with your daughter's name. Available at the Christmas shop at Downtown Disney.
    - Have a puzzle made with your daughter's photo on it. Available at the Imagination pavilion at Epcot.
    - Have a Disney artist make a custom watch for your daughter. Available at the art shops at the Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Downtown Disney.
    - And of course, there's always my personal favorite souvenir - Vinylmations. I'm guessing your daughter would love the D-Street store at Downtown Disney. She can see the work of many professional Disney artists translated onto a collectible figurine. They also sell blank figures that guests can customize themselves.

Good luck with your planning. Let me know if you need more information about any of these ideas.
