Last trip before kids turn 13. What activities will they miss out on if they don't do them this trip? Have done BBB, PL, and Pirate Adventure from Yacht Club. Tea at the Grand Floridian is too expensive. Do they still do activities like cooking lessons?

    Hi Debbie!

How exciting that you are able to take your kids to Disney before they are officially teenagers.

There was a children's cooking class held at Downtown Disney in June this year, so there are still cooking classes held occasionally. I'm not aware of any additional classes coming up, but you can check to see if any are offered the week that you will be in Disney.

This is the last year that your kids can participate in the child activity centers, which many kids love to do while their parents enjoy a date night. There are also hair makeovers at the Harmony Barbershop, pirate makeovers at The Pirates League and dining with the characters which don't stop at age 12, but are experiences to enjoy while the kids are still into these activities.

You can also look forward to next year when they will be 13 and can do the Dolphins in Depth tour, which is a three hour tour in which they can actually pet a dolphin.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
