My last trip with my kids was in 2011, back then we had the lanyard to hold our card and I used the lanyard to hold the pins for trading. Now with the bracelet, where do most pin traders keep their pins? Do they just use a lanyard anyways?

    Hi Sherry!

Oh how I love pin trading! It is so much fun for parents and kids! Even though you will get to enjoy the convenience of having your Magic Band on your wrist, you will find that many still use the lanyards for their pins. You can also consider getting one of the Disney Pin Trading books, which is more cumbersome, but can hold more pins. I like using the book because it keeps my pins safe and I don't have to worry about them falling off of my lanyard.

If you love pin trading, make sure to visit Disney's Pin Traders in Disney Springs. They have an entire wall of Disney pins that you can look at and make trades. I also love pin trading at Magic Kingdom in the Frontierland Pin Trading Post. They also have a pin trading board. Check in with Guest Relations at each park, as they have a pin book that you can use to make trades. It's best to go early in the morning to get the best selection!

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
