This should be my last ? before my trip in 15 days! Excited! We have breakfast resi @ 8:20 for Chef Mickey's. Will we be able to catch a bus and make it in time or would a taxi be best? Thank you! :D

    Hello Maegen,

I am sure your dreams are filled with pixie dusted excitement now that you are just days away from your Walt Disney World vacation. And spending a morning with Mickey and his Pals, at Chef Mickey's, is one of many ways to start a magical day at Walt Disney World.

After some quick research I see you are staying at Disney Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter. If taking Disney's bus transportation from your resort to Magic Kingdom park and then either walking or taking the resort monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort, I recommend allowing yourself about 45minutes of travel time. Buses are running in the morning to accommodate Guests who have early Advance Dining Reservation, so do not fret. Now if you are like me, a little Grumpy in the morning and a a slow riser, then a 15 minute taxi cab ride might be your best option. Taxis are easily accessible at the front of your Walt Disney World resort.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many memorable and magical moments.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
