Last time we had dining plan DD was <10, this time she will be 11. She has severe reflux disease and eats very small portions. Now that she is 'adult' will the allow us to split a meal if we are on DP? Like DP but not sure if it will work now for us.

Hi, Heather!  I have never had any difficulty sharing meals on the dining plan, as long as you are not sharing a buffet meal or a family style meal.  Everyone must use their own dining plan credit for those meals.

The advantage to sharing meals, is that you will have extra dining plan credits to use for signature dining experiences that require two table service credits to dine there.  The down side to sharing meals is that you may find yourself with a lot of extra meal credits at the end of your trip.

Since my gastric bypass surgery, we've only very rarely used the dining plan.  I just can't eat as much with my gastrically altered self as I could before my surgery, so for me, the dining plan just doesn't make sense.  We would end up with extra credits, packing last minute snacks into our bag for the trip home.

    I hope this helps!
