Hi! The last time we ate at Sebastian’s Bistro the food was all amazing but there was too much for the two of us. Just trying to plan ahead, can you take home leftovers from Sebastian’s Bistro?

    Ahoy there, Joanna!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us a fin-tastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm thrilled to hear you'll be dining at Sebastian's Bistro very soon! As you count down the final few days before your escape to The Most Magical Place on Earth, let's chat about how to make your dining experience go swimmingly.

Joanna, I had the chance to dine at Sebastian's Bistro at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort for the first time a few months ago, and I immediately couldn't wait to return. (In fact, my family will be dining there next week during our upcoming trip!) From the pretty pastels and breezy seaside decor to the generous family-style portions, I truly think this Table-Service restaurant is an overlooked gem. Since this location does not operate as an all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurant, I'm happy to share that you should be offered the opportunity to box up and take any remaining leftovers at the end of your meal! Just keep in mind that most Disney Resort hotels feature beverage coolers, not true refrigerators, so you'll want to make sure you have somewhere to safely store your leftover food.

I agree with you on the portion sizes being especially generous, Joanna. You'll definitely want to arrive hungry before bellying up to a King Triton-sized meal at Sebastian's Bistro! For my family's upcoming trip, I've planned a late-morning breakfast at Cape May Cafe on the day we plan to enjoy dinner at Sebastian's Bistro. My plan is to forego lunch for light snacks at EPCOT that day in the hopes that everyone will be good and hungry at dinner time. A quick tip before you swim over for your hearty Caribbean-inspired meal: save any unused Guava Butter from the bread course to top the Grilled Seasonal Vegetables!

Joanna, I hope you've found this information helpful and I wish you a memorable meal at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. If you have any additional questions before or during your vacation, you're always welcome to flip your fins back to us here at planDisney. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
