Hello Kangna!
Welcome to planDisney where real Disney Guests just like you are here to help you with your trip planning questions!
I have good news for you, Kangna. For most
Disneyland ticket types, the ticket retains the value you paid for it, even after it expires. The expiration means the ticket is no longer valid at that price point, but you can use it toward the purchase of a new ticket at the same or higher price. I am in the same situation with two tickets I purchased before the pandemic. Our trip was canceled and although we were able to use most of our tickets, I still have two unused tickets remaining. I plan to use them toward a trip in the future!
When you are ready to visit, you will need to
call ticketing to purchase your new ticket. You should be prepared to pay the difference to upgrade your old ticket to the new ticket type. And now comes the fun part, Kangna, time to plan that trip! Don’t forget that you’ll need a Theme Park Reservation as well as your ticket, and those reservations do tend to book, so make sure you plan a bit in advance.
I hope this information is helpful, Kangna! Wishing you a magical visit to the
Disneyland Resort!
