Last night, we spontaneously planned a trip to Orlando to visit my brother-in-law's family. It's in 2 weeks! Yikes! We plan to go to WDW only 1 day of our extended weekend stay. We have a 14 mos old and it will be our first time. Am I crazy? Need tips!!!

    Hi Linda,

You are not crazy because you have us to control the hysteria! Just kidding!

I would go to Magic Kingdom for the day as it is the best place on earth! First, make a dining reservation, so you will have someplace to eat and get to the park early so you have maximum touring time. Book a character meal so you can eat and get pictures with the characters at the same time.

Visit this site for tips on touring with a 14 month old and view Heather's video on touring with little ones as well.

Remember to enjoy your trip with your daughter, and you can always come back for an additional day! On a final note, ticket prices are going up on August 3, so you may want to order your ticket now.

    Enjoy!
