Last minute trip in 3 weeks for my 30th & DD 7th BDAY! Hoping to find ADR on arrival day @ Ohana' and want to be able to catch MK fireworks and maybe electric parade. As of now ADR's all booked, any other suggestions for special dinner w/ FW to follow?

Hi Rebecca! Happy 30th Birthday! There is no better place in the world to celebrate your birthday than Walt Disney World! I'm going in four days to celebrate my birthday, so I have some tips for you!

First, the best place to eat and watch the fireworks is California Grill. Call 407-WDW-DINE and ask for a reservation at 8 or 9 p.m. to have a chance to eat dinner and then watch the fireworks from the balcony after you eat. You can also see the fireworks from the wraparound windows inside the restaraunt, but I think that the best view is from atop the balcony, just make sure to bring a sweater.

Also, when you make your reservation, tell the cast member that you are celebrating your and your daughter's birthday. They will bring out a special little treat to celebrate.

The only catch with California Grill is that you won't be able to see the parade. The best place to dine to watch both the fireworks and parade is Tony's in the Magic Kingdom. The food is delicious, the view is great and they even bring out a special dessert for your birthday with Lady and the Tramp drawn in chocolate!

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
