Mom And Daughter; Animal Kingdom

    We have last minute plans to visit WDW March 17-23, 2008. Traveling with one other adult and 3 kids, one infant and a 3yr old adn a 4 yr old. What hotels do you recommend, and are there meals w/ any Little Einsten characters?

    I am so glad that you asked about the Little Einsteins!  There IS in fact a great and relatively new character meal with Leo & June and it is wonderful!  It is located in Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Hollywood & Vine restaurant.  Leo & June from Little Einsteins are joined by Jo-Jo and Goliath from Jo-Jo's Circus for a 'Play & Dine' experience that is lots of fun!  If I sound like a walking advertisement for them I guess maybe I am, because my daughters just adored this meal and it was a highlight of our trip last fall.  Periodically the characters and cast members would call the kids up front to sing and dance and play games, and it was great fun for all of us.  Not to mention the yummy food!  We will definitely be going back.  That said, if you can't get a reservation never fear.  The Little Einstein characters (all four) are available for meet & greets in the park, so ask a cast member where and when they can be found and your little fans can still meet their favorite adventurers.

    As for accommodations...I'm not sure what your budget is, so I'll pick one from each category.  My pick for a value resort would be the All-Star Movies, moderate would be Port Orleans-French Quarter, and deluxe would be the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  I think all three of these have great features for kids in your age range (my girls are similar ages) and will provide lots of nice entertainment opportunities at your resort as well.
