Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Alyssa! We're so glad you stopped by with your question!
Every holiday season, our friends from Arendelle take the stage nightly at 6:15 PM (guests attending
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are treated to a second show at 8:15 PM) to light the Castle Dream Lights. After a seven-minute performance, known as
A Frozen Holiday Wish, they are finally able to convince Queen Elsa to use her powers to transform Cinderella Castle into a shimmering ice palace with 200,000 LED lights!
I checked the Entertainment Schedule, and unfortunately, it looks like the final show is on December 22 this yEAR. But don't fret...even though you won't be able to catch the show during your trip, you'll still be able to see castle lights which will stay up through the New Year. Here's a Moms Panel tip: Use the
My Disney Experience Mobile app to check show schedules during your trip. Simply click on the Park map at the top of the screen, and select the blue drop-down arrow next to the word, "Wait Times." Scroll down and select "Entertainment" and then "Show List." Make a selection from the list, and if you click on "Add to My Plans," a calendar will pop up, so you can choose the exact dates you are looking for.
By the way, Alyssa, one event that will still be occurring during your trip, is
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at Magic Kingdom Park. It is scheduled for 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM on December 30 and 11:00 and 2:00 on December 31. Keep a lookout for the toy soldiers, gingerbread boys, and dancing reindeer... and of course, Mickey and Minnie in their holiday finery!
I hope you have a magical holiday, Alyssa!
