    Our last day at WDW is Thursday Jan 23. We are looking for an activity/character dining/show on Disney property w/o going into a park.

    It is always a sad day when your Walt Disney World Resort vacation comes to an end, but planning a few fun activities on your departure date to capture just a little bit more of the magic can help quite a bit!

    Often my family will plan a departure breakfast at one of Disney's Resort Hotels.  If you are looking for a character meal, you might try Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort, 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, or the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno on Disney's BoardWalk.

    We also like to visit Disney Springs for some last minute souvenirs or Mickey-shaped treats to take home.  You might enjoy a virtual reality experience at The VOID: Step Beyond Reality or take one last look at Walt Disney World from high in the sky on an aerial balloon at Aerophile.  Or perhaps you'd like to test your skills at the NBA Experience.  Check out the Disney Springs page for events and entertainment that may be happening during your visit.

    Another activity to try is miniature golf at either Disney's Winter Summerland or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf Courses.

    If you'd like to take a more relaxed approach to your departure day, perhaps you would like a dip in the pool.  Guests are welcome to use all the amenities at their Disney Resort Hotel on departure day, even after checking out of their room.
