Hi there, Abdul!
Welcome aboard! Booking a placeholder for a future cruise while onboard has some great perks, so I'm so happy you were able to take advantage of it. Sounds like you and I are both eager to get back on a Disney ship and sail with Captain Mickey!
As you know, a
placeholder allows Guests up to 24 months from the date the placeholder was booked to set sail. So since you booked a placeholder during your February 2020 cruise, then it would be available to be used towards cruise travel until February 2022. The important date is what day you book the placeholder; that will be the date from which the 24 months will be calculated. FYI: some placeholders are being extended, so contact Disney Cruise Line by phone to discuss your placeholder and any extension that may be available.
To book your next adventure using your placeholder, you would need to
call a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist. If you have your placeholder confirmation email, that will help them locate your placeholder. Since it’s not visible under “My Reservations” on the Disney Cruise Line website, you will definitely need to call.
There are some fabulous cruises available at the end of this year and the beginning of 2022. I’m talking about
Very Merrytime sailings and those
Marvel Day at Sea and
Star Wars Day at Sea voyages. So I hope one of those is calling your name and leaps off the list as the one for you and your family.
Abdul, you never need a placeholder to come ask more questions at planDisney. We’d love to help you navigate the cruise planning waters. Wishing you a magical adventure at sea!
Sherry
