Hi Sandra,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sailing by with your question. I hope I can provide some information that will help with your concern.
On Disney Cruise Line ships,
most staterooms offer "split bathrooms." This means there are two separate rooms, one includes a toilet (approximately 17 inches from the floor), sink, and vanity area and the other includes a sink vanity and bathtub/shower. The minimum door width in a typical stateroom is 22-23 inches. The bathrooms are relatively spacious as far as cruise ships go. Restrooms in the public spaces throughout the ship offer accessible toilets with more space. Another option is to utilize the complimentary locker rooms in the
Senses Spa and
Fitness Center, which is open from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on embarkation day, and 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. the remainder of the cruise.
Sandra, I recommend
calling Disney Cruise Line directly since they may be able to provide more specificity for the dimensions of the stateroom and then help you book the best room for your needs. I trust they will do whatever they can to help set your mind at ease. If you have other needs, you will find more information regarding
Special Services in the
My Reservations section under the Already Booked tab on the website.
Thanks for visiting us with your question and let us know if you have other questions. We are happy to help you navigate your planning!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
