Hiya, Taneeya!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this
Disneyland Resort planning questions to us hEAR!
Oh Boy! You used my favorite hashtag Disney planning hack for securing a
Disney Dining Reservation for a large group. I might have to link this question to future answers as proof that this workaround works! Also, congratulations on both
Fantasmic! Dining Package reservations - those are the hottest tickets in town. I think you should
apply to become a panelist next yEAR to share your
Disneyland Resort knowledge!
I can't make a guarantee about this because I'm not an official Cast Member, nor do I have a magic mirror of behind-the-scenes access at
Blue Bayou Restaurant. However. If you ask nicely or ask if maybe there's another party of the same size as one of your showings who is willing to swap times, I'm sure they'll see what they can do. I would especially think that if you also request that both of your reservations can sit either near each other or have your two tables pushed together, the Fantasmic! request would be honored because then it would be obvious that you're one large group. Even if they say no (not because they don't want to, more likely because they're out of passes for the same showtime), you could even still try to make the ask at the
Fantasmic! check-in area before the first showing. I don't think it would come to this, but it's nice to know that you have a backup plan.
I'm so sorry that this didn't exactly clEAR up your question, Taneeya, but I hope that it helped to give you hope for your upcoming Disney day! I'm crossing my fingers for you and I'm wishing for extra pixie dust for your entire party. Be sure to follow the
official planDisney Panel Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more
