Hello, my large family will be splitting up across parks some days (sometimes taking rest days while others are having a park day). Some family are in the "People I Do Not Have Plans With" list. Do we each need memory maker?

    Hey howdy hey, Elaine,

You must be excited that you and your gang will soon embark on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It sounds like you all have mastered one of my best tips for traveling with a large family, which is knowing that you can split up so that some folks can rest while others explore the theme parks. I hope you have plans to meet up later in the day for dinner so you can share all the day’s magical experiences.

You’ve also made a great decision to pre-purchase Memory Maker. With a large group, it is one of my favorite ways to capture many magical memories since up to 25 people can “get in the picture!”

The simplest way to share Memory Maker with your family is to make sure you are all connected through your Family & Friends list. It sounds as if you aren’t already connected to everyone, so I encourage you to invite everyone to join your Family & Friends list

Then, go to your Family & Friends list and locate the Guest you want to share your photos with, then select “Update” and check the box that says “My Disney PhotoPass Photos” to allow them access photo sharing.  At least one member of your Family & Friends should be sure to present your MagicBand, Disney PhotoPass card, theme park ticket or annual pass to the PhotoPass photographer when taking a photo. Wearing your MagicBand to the park is the simplest way to ensure your Disney PhotoPass photos, including your attraction photos, will be automatically linked to your account. When you do this, any photos taken of your Friends & Family while your Memory Maker is active will appear in your photos

If someone is not on your Family & Friends list and you do not wish to add them, you can also invite people to view your photos through email. Elaine, be aware that while they can view your photos, any PhotoPass photos taken of them won’t automatically be added to your photos.

I hope this helps you as you prepare for your rootin-tootin good time with your family, Elaine. Please stop by any time with other questions you may have or if you would like more tips on visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with a large group!

    Remember, you are the magic,
    Shannon
