Hi Catherine!
We often travel with a large group of family and friends so I always like to help fellow Guests with these questions. Our biggest group was 21 Guests! Only certain locations will let you book that number of Guests online, so you may find it easiest to call. There is a
special phone number specifically for Guests calling from the United Kingdom, so you can avoid international phone fees. I have been known to call, while simultaneously attempting to book online for the best results!
With such a large group and a wide range of ages, I like the idea of a buffet or
Character Dining. This will allow faster service and the little ones won’t have to wait as long, as well as the joy of meeting favorite characters! I love dinner at
1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Everything at that resort feels extra special! At the Magic Kingdom,
The Crystal Palace is a family favorite and we have had good luck getting a large reservation. The classic extra special Disney meal is
Cinderella’s Royal Table. It may be quite difficult to secure a reservation this large, but they do accept large reservations. This is one I would recommend calling for.
Another popular choice is dinner at
‘Ohana. This is served family-style and so again, you won’t wait long for food to arrive. If you are looking for a more traditional dinner, and want something extra special, one of my favorites is
Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney's Yacht Club Resort.
Does your family have a good sense of humor? For something a little more fun and engaging, what about the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review? Disney kids young and old will have a delicious meal and a lot of laughs, and it would certainly be an extra special treat.
I hope one or two of these suggestions sound like the perfect fit for your family. Sending pixie dust for that perfect reservation and a happy celebration for all!
