We have lanyards from our previous trip to Disneyland in 2007 is this something that is still used in Disneyworld? We leave from the Pacific coast in 13 days for our holiday in Florida - what kind of weather can we expect?

    Hi Charlene,

How exciting to be just a few weeks from your Disney World trip!

I assume the lanyards you are referring to are the ones that most Disney guests use to collect and display their Disney pins. Some lanyards also have the added pocket to store your Disney pass or Key to the World. You will be happy to hear that those lanyards are still extremely popular at Disney World and can still be worn and used during your upcoming visit.

In regards to the expected weather, the average highs in December are typically the mid seventies with nighttime lows in the lower fifties. You will find you most likely need a warm sweatshirt or jacket for the evenings and early mornings. We have visited a number of times and found it unseasonably warm, but a trip or two has also found it very chilly with a need for heavier coats and mittens. Rainfall expectancy is typically low but it is best top plan a few outfits for both extremes and plan a warm coat just in case.

Wishing you plenty of warm, sunny, magical days!
