Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan!
WOW! The magic will sure be flowing on your upcoming land-sea-land vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort and aboard Disney Cruise Line! Can I join your crew for this adventure? It sounds pretty spectacular to me, and I can only imagine all the special memories that will be created by your family on both land and sea!
I know
packing can be challenging for a long vacation especially when it involves a visit to the parks and a cruise. Unfortunately, the resort hotels at Walt Disney World do not let you store your luggage even though you are planning on a stay after your cruise. But, since you are utilizing Disney Cruise Line ground transportation, you will not have to worry about transporting your luggage either way so that's good news. The other good news I have is that the storage under your queen bed in your stateroom aboard Disney Cruise Line is very spacious with a generous clearance. I really don't think you'll have any problem storing any extra luggage. I usually overpack and always have ample space for everything I bring!
Susan, something else you may find useful on your vacation are the
laundry rooms aboard Disney Cruise Line. For a nominal charge, you can do a few loads of laundry to help with the space in your luggage. All laundry purchases (machines, detergent, fabric softener) will be charged to your "Key to the World" card, which is connected to your stateroom account and the credit card you place on file.
It's been a pleasure assisting you with your cruise questions, Susan! Please write back if we can help further with your magical plans!
