Have land and sea package first week of december 2014. Staying at pop century before our cruise 12/5-12/8/2014 on the DIsney Dream. How many hours before will we need to be at the bus stop to get to port?

Welcome aboard, Kristin! And hello from Ohio! It's always nice to see another Ohio family getting excited to set sail with Disney Cruise Line!

Planning a land and sea vacation with Disney is our family's favorite type of vacation. It's a great way to enjoy the parks at the Walt Disney World Resort and then relax and enjoy even more fun onboard the Disney Dream!

Since you've booked the ground transportation with Disney Cruise Line, you will receive a note or call in your resort room the night before you set sail. This will detail the time you need to have your luggage ready for pick up and the time and place to meet to board the motorcoach. Because the times vary based on how many other guests at your resort are setting sail with you, I can't give you exact times, but can give you an example of our pick up times last month. We needed to have our luggage ready to check in by 8:00 a.m. This was picked up from our resort room, and we kept our day bags with us, allowing us to still enjoy our time at the resort that morning. We met up with our group in the lobby around 11:00 and boarded our bus shortly after that. After we were onboard, we made a stop at another resort for more guests and then we made our way to Port Canaveral. Once the motorcoach leaves the Walt Disney World Resort area, it's about an hour ride to the port.

I hope those details give you an idea of what to expect, Kristin. Again, the specifics for your pick up times may vary, but you can plan to have your luggage picked up early, followed by heading out on the motorcoach in the late morning or around noon. Have fun planning your cruise!
