    The lagoon in EPCOT has boats that traverse it.What country can we pick it up in and where does it let us off?

    Hi Diane,

    The Friendship Boats that cross the World Showcase lagoon operate between the Showcase Plaza area at the entrance to World Showcase and a dock near the Morocco pavilion on the other side. The departure point near Morocco is also near France and Japan.

    In the past, boats also have carried guests from near Mexico to Germany, but I have not seen that route in operation recently and it is not marked on the current Epcot park map. 

    Please remember that the boats begin operation at 11 a.m., when all of the World Showcase opens. My family finds that it is much faster to walk around the World Showcase than to take the boat. However, they are air-conditioned and save steps, especially if you are on your way to a dining reservation in a country near the dock. They also are a nice respite and give a close view of the area where IllumiNations is launched each evening.
