Welcome aboard, Stacey! It sounds like you have a very special reason to set sail this coming summer on the
Disney Fantasy! Let me assure you that there is no more magical vacation than one at sea with Captain Mickey and his crew! The two of you are in for so many amazing experiences!
Disney Cruise Line does not require guests to have passports on this type of Caribbean sailing that begins and ends in Port Canaveral. However, my family and I
prefer to travel with passports each time we sail, as there is a peace of mind that I get about knowing that even in the unlikely event of an emergency or medical problem in a foreign port of call, we can more easily return home. So, I would urge you to consider applying for passports, since you've got plenty of time to do so before this summer.
However, if you do not want to get passports, it is not required. Check out the
travel document requirements on Disney Cruise Line's website for specifics. Adults must provide both a state-issued birth certificate and government issued photo I.D. if they are sailing without a passport.
I hope that helps as you get ready for this magical adventure, Stacey! Have a wonderful time!
