Hello Ladies, Our family is taking our first Disney Vacation this August. I was wondering if you all could suggest some dining destinations that are MUST go to, we have a 9 year old daughter and triplet 6 year olds. (B,G,B)

Hi, Denise!  It's tough to answer this question without knowing what type of dining experiences you might be looking for.  Are your kids into the character meals at all?  Are you looking for a specific type of food?  Do you want to avoid buffets or do you love them?

For my family, the list of favorites include:

    Magic Kingdom:
We love the Crystal Palace, a buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner with Pooh and Friends.  There is great character interaction here, with some awesome buffet options.  Even my bigger kids (ages 12 and 22) enjoy pictures with Pooh.

    EPCOT:
My gang loves Teppan Edo.  The Japanese restaurant allows you to sit and enjoy the show as the chef prepares your menu selections right on the grill before your eyes.  I'm pretty sure my kids even eat their vegetables at this location, because they love watching them being cooked!

    Hollywood Studios:
We never miss the 50s Prime Time Cafe.  The kids might enjoy sitting in "Mom's kitchen", as they help set the table to get ready for dinner.  Your server might reprimand Dad for putting his elbows on the table, or remind Mom she doesn't get dessert if she doesn't clean her plate, but it's always great fun for us.  Another option here is Sci Fi Dine In, where your family may be seated in cars inside the "drive in".  Great fun.

    Animal Kingdom:
If you haven't done Rainforest Cafe, now's a good time to enjoy it.  We also really love the character meal at Tusker House.

Other suggestions include Be Our Guest at the Magic Kingdom, 'Ohana at the Polynesian resort, and Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  So many to choose!

If you want me to spin this to things your family might like, just let me know!
