Krista-Thanks for the answer--helped me tons. Next ?- what time should I try to get a reserv for Cape May Cafe if I want to get to Epcot at 9pm for Illuminations? Same with res at Les Chefs if going to La Nouba at 9pm? Thanks so much for all your help.

Hello again, Jessica! If I remember correctly, your trip in August is your second trip.  I hope I'm not going to give you too much information you already know.  I'd just rather cover too much than not enough.  For your Cape May Cafe reservation, I would try between 6:00 and 6:45.  Because it's a buffet, you can control the amount of time you spend there a little better than a meal where you're being served.  However, you want to be sure to have enough time to sample all the wonderful offerings.  You will want to find your way from the Beach Club Resort through the International Gateway (between France and the United Kingdom) and grab a great spot around the World Showcase Lagoon about an hour before IllumiNations begins.

For your Chefs de France reservation, I would recommend between 5:45 and 6:30.  You are at the mercy of the speed of service here.  It is an incredible experience, and you won't want to ask them to rush it.  Transportation also uses up valuable time.  You will, again, want to use the International Gateway.  From the Beach Club or Boardwalk Inn, use Disney transportation to get you to Downtown Disney.  I would allow ample time for this.  It would be better to have a few spare minutes to look around West Side at Downtown Disney than to miss any part of the show.
