Hi, Justin! I so LOVED meeting you and Kerri, too! Hope you are both doing well! I suggest one of the terrific tours that Walt Disney World offers. There are two that I think you and Kerri might enjoy. The first, Keys to the Kingdom Tour, covers the Magic Kingdom's history, the company's philosophies, and visits the underground Utilidor areas. At last check, it was $74 per person for the four-hour experience and that included lunch at Columbia Harbour House in the Magic Kingdom. Theme park admission is required.
The second, more in-depth, but also more expensive, tour is the Backstage Magic Tour. You get to go backstage at all four theme parks to see the technical and creative operations. It is the longest Walt Disney World tour at seven hours. The last cost I have for that is $224 a person which includes lunch at the Whispering Canyon Cafe (one of my favorites!). Theme park admission is NOT required for this tour. You can call 407-939-8687 to book either of these.
If you're looking for something a little more in the same price range as the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage we took together, check out one of the carriage rides. They are available at Fort Wilderness, Port Orleans Riverside, and Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. The 30-minute horse-drawn carriage rides are $45. You can schedule this by calling 407-939-7529. January is just around the corner now! Please tell Kerri I said "hello!" Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
