Hi, Krista! I'm from TN and my kids are also 10 and 12! My ? is: do grownups often wear the Birthday buttons? Turning 40 this year (just like WDW!!) and want to celebrate this milestone in style on our family's first trip! 42 days and counting! Thanks!

Hi, Susan! I'm always so glad to hear from fellow Tennesseans! YES!!! Grown-ups take part in the festivities just like the children do! I've worn a birthday pin, an anniversary pin, and a personal triumph pin.  I love how the Cast Members acknowledge your special event.  If you don't want attention then don't get a pin because wearing a pin garners lots of congratulations and/or happy birthday sentiments.  If you're like me, you still like to celebrate birthdays, and this is a really fun way to do so.  It also makes a cute souvenir.  So ask for a pin upon check-in (if they don't offer it to you), enjoy your well wishes, and have a Magical vacation! Happy 40th Birthday!
