Hi Wendy!
Welcome to planDisney! I haven’t had a chance to see
Drawn to Life yet, but I’ve heard amazing things! I’m always so impressed by the Cirque du Soleil performers.
I did a little deep dive to try to figure out why the show isn’t offered that weekend in September, and it seems like there are periodic breaks throughout the year to allow the performers to rest. After a busy summer of performances, I could only imagine how much they need that break to recoup and continue the show the next week.
Unfortunately, it seems like that break is right around the time you’ll be visiting, though. While you may not get to see the show this time around, there are some amazing shows worth seeing in the parks.
Festival of the Lion King is my absolute favorite show at Disney World. You can find it at
Animal Kingdom, and there are several shows each day.
There are also two brand-new shows debuting at
Hollywood Studios on May 27, 2025:
The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure and
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After. Both look incredible!
Of course, those are just a few of many. You can find a
list of all the shows offered at Disney World here. The best part is that the shows at the theme parks are included in your park admission, so there won’t be any need to purchase separate tickets. Some of the shows do offer
Lightning Lanes, though, if you’d like to purchase that service to bypass the standby queue.
I hope that helps! If you have any other questions, let us know. We’re always happy to help!
