    do you know why the hours of operation are so short on Dec 8 for Hollywood Studios, the web calendar says 9-5. I'm thinking of heading there to see if the crowds are lower to get onto Toy Story Mania. Love reading all the Q&As.

    Hi Leah! Hollywood Studios is slated to close earlier on December 8th than the rest of the month, and while I don't have official word as to why, I'll give you an educated guess. During that week in December, the Pop Warner National Championships will be held at the Disney. On December 8 of last year, this children's football and cheerleading organization had a private after-hours party at Hollywood Studios for participants and their families, and I expect Hollywood Studios may be closing early that day for another such event.

    You're right that the early closing time will likely dissuade many guests from visiting the Studios that day, so the crowd levels should be very low. If you don't want to wait in long lines, I think December 8 will be a great day to visit the Studios!
