Do you know whether ALL the amount paid to a server/stateroom attendant etc in gratuities (through your shipboard account as opposed to cash) goes directly to them or are they pooled?

    Ahoy, Michelle!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Are you getting excited about your summer voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line? The days are flying by so it will be your turn for a pixie-dusted sailing before you know it!

I just returned from another magical vacation with Captain Mickey and am always blown away by the phenomenal service by the amazing crew members. It is my understanding from years of cruising that the dining servers and the stateroom host/hostesses receive the full amount tipped by Guests. If you would like to give more, you can add on to the suggested gratuity amount by stopping by Guest Services or by placing cash in the tipping envelopes that will be provided. Your gratuity vouchers will be left in your stateroom by the end of your cruise, and each voucher will have the name of the crew member with amount paid along with your name. They are perforated so you'll want to tear them apart and place them in the corresponding envelope. You can give them out the last night or at breakfast before you disembark. There will not be an issue with the crew members getting paid if you forget to pass out the envelopes since the tips are automatically charged to your account or pre-paid.

Thank you for sending in this great question, Michelle! Please keep us posted if you think of anything else before the big day arrives.

    Have a magical day!
