Hi, Do you know if the Villas at Animal Kingdom Jambo House are closed for refurbishment or is it safe to book a room there for October 2020?

    Jambo, Tricia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love that you are planning to visit my favorite Resort on all of the property! Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas was our "first" Disney home, and we couldn't love it more! From the animal Cast Members to the best food on property (order the Bread Service at Sanaa), many things put it on our "favorite hotel list."

As you already know, the Resort is undergoing extensive renovations. Mickey & Co. decided it was time for the animals to receive an upgraded view! Work is progressing magically, but recently, we've all had a bit of a "Stitch" in our plans. By the time you arrive in October, you should have a beautiful new room, but I can't promise that you won't still see a bit of evidence of Simba and Pumbaa's continued work. As long as the Villas are available for your desired week when you log in to disneyvacationclub.com, you are good to go! (If the rooms were closed, you wouldn't have the option of booking).

Tricia, while you are at the Resort, take advantage of the fantastic Animal Specialists out on the savanna. Every time we stay, we lEARn something new about our animal friends! One of our favorite ways to view them is via night-vision goggles in the evening. It's super fun to watch the zebras and gazelles and giraffes do their thing at night! If you have any other questions, you know where to find us!

    Asante Sana!
