Do you know when the Uzima springs pool construction will be done? We are planning a vacation in March 2019

    Hi Julie!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is such a magical place to stay when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort!  Not only is there amazing theming throughout the resort, but there are also incredible dining options and exotic animals around every turn!

Although dates are always subject to change, I spoke with a Cast Member who informed me that the refurbishments on the Uzima Springs Pool and Uzima Springs Pool Bar are currently scheduled to begin on September 4, 2018 and end by December 4, 2018.  If these dates do not change, you should have no issues during your March 2019 trip!  Plus, with all of that pixie dust flying around, by the time you arrive, I'm sure your stay will be even more magical!

If you decide to visit while construction is still happening, there will be shuttle transportation that will be able to take you next door to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village where you can enjoy the Samawati Springs Pool and the Maji Pool Bar!  Remember, even though you may hear some noise from the refurbishments, you would only hear it during the day between 9 a.m. and dusk!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!

Hi y’all!  I am an Army wife, a college instructor, a dog-mom, and a lover of all things Disney!  Planning a Disney vacation is my favorite pastime—other than actually going on a Disney vacation, of course—and I love helping others make the most of their magical trip!  If I am not at the Walt Disney World Resort, I am putting the pixie-dusted touches on my next trip!
