I know that technically, we can enter the park early for the Halloween party. When do the meet and greets start? Can my daughter start trick-or-treating early? Are the Halloween themed magic photo ops set up? What exactly can we do that early?

    Hi there, Kelley!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to see you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in October and attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party during your trip!

Mickey's frightfully, fun event is such a great way to experience Magic Kingdom Park in the fall. Don't miss the amazing entertainment options such as Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular during this "not-so-scary" event.

As you mentioned, Guests have historically been allowed to enter Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 4:00 p.m. even though the party doesn't officially begin until 7:00 p.m. My family has always taken advantage of being able to enter the iconic park early. I've never seen the trick-or-treat stations, Character Greetings or Disney Photo Pass Magic Shots, which are unique to the party, start before 7:00 p.m. We've always used the timeframe between 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. to get a few attractions in and enjoy an early dinner before the party officially kicks off.

I hope this information is helpful to you, Kelley. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any new questions. It would be our "treat" to assist you further in planning a spooktacular trip!
