Hi there, Kelley!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to see you will be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort in October and attending
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party during your trip!
Mickey's frightfully, fun event is such a great way to experience
Magic Kingdom Park in the fall. Don't miss the amazing entertainment options such as Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular during this "not-so-scary" event.
As you mentioned, Guests have historically been allowed to enter Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 4:00 p.m. even though the party doesn't officially begin until 7:00 p.m. My family has always taken advantage of being able to enter the iconic park early. I've never seen the trick-or-treat stations, Character Greetings or Disney Photo Pass Magic Shots, which are unique to the party, start before 7:00 p.m. We've always used the timeframe between 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. to get a few attractions in and enjoy an early dinner before the party officially kicks off.
I hope this information is helpful to you, Kelley. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any new questions. It would be our "treat" to assist you further in planning a
spooktacular trip!
Jodie
