I know there is a special opening ceremony at the Magic Kingdom, are there any special ceremonies at any of the other parks? Stephanie,Tybee Island, Ga.

    Hi Stephanie,

Yes all 4 of the Disney Parks have opening ceremonies on non extra magic hour mornings. The Magic Kingdom one is the most elaborate though with lots of characters arriving on the train and it involves lots of singing and dancing, I must admit to always getting a bit teary eyed when I watch it! I won't spoil the others for you but often characters are involved and sometimes guests are chosen to help with the opening, they only last about 5 minutes and happen just before the official park opening time.

For the best view of these you will need to arrive at the parks about 30 minutes before they open, one great benefit of arriving so early is that you'll be able to head straight to your favourite rides before the crowds arrive later in the day.

    Have a great trip,
