    I know it's too soon to book, but can we expect Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin' in Disney Springs to be open and serving its regular Saturday & Sunday brunch over this New Year's weekend?

    There is something nostalgic about a restaurant that can take you back to the days you picked tomatoes fresh out of your grandparent’s garden, gathered eggs from the chicken coop and smelled the flavors of breakfast wafting out of the window as you wait to gather as a family to eat, connect and talk. Whether it’s brunch, lunch or dinner Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ has been an ongoing favorite of mine. 

    I am happy to report weekend brunch is back! Get ready to crave and dream about the all-southern pimento cheese grits, the iconic deliciousness of fried green tomatoes and/or the quirkiness of fried chicken and doughnuts, along with a menu full of foodie dreams come true. Guests can make an advance dining reservation 60-days in advance online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  It’s, also, good to know Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ accepts walk-up reservations.
