I know that some rooms have a larger veranda. How do I know which those are when I'm booking?

    Hiya Amy!

So nice to meet you! There's nothing like a peaceful morning on your verandah during a cruise. I'll be happy to help!

Stateroom categories can vary a little between ships, so you'll want to decide which cruise you'll be sailing on first so you know which ship to research. I did see that the Disney Fantasy is embarking on your arrival date, so I'll use that ship as my example.

On the Disney Fantasy, there are a few different types of staterooms with verandahs. You can use the deck plans on the website to get a general idea of the verandahs on each deck. When you're ready to book your cruise the oversized verandahs are classified as Category 4E and you can find them on Decks 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 on the Disney Fantasy.

When you are booking your cruise you'll start by picking your itinerary on the "Find a Cruise" page. Once you pick an itinerary and a specific date you'll get to pick your specific stateroom. First you will choose the stateroom type, then a deck, and then you can view individual rooms. When you click on a room you'll see some information about that stateroom, including its category. Remember, for the Disney Fantasy staterooms with oversized verandahs, you're looking for Category 4E.

You can also search the ship for a particular stateroom category by clicking "Search by Stateroom" on the deck plan screen at the top right. That button will open a side menu where you can either search for a particular stateroom by number or you can click "Search by Category" and then choose Category 4E.

Don't forget, you can always call and speak with a Cast Member if you have questions or would like a little help booking your cruise!

I really enjoy having a verandah when we cruise because it's the perfect spot to enjoy a snack from room service! Most of the items on the menu are included in your cruise fare, so there's no reason not to have a light breakfast on your verandah or catch a snack during your afternoon break. I love having a quite spot to relax that is all our own.

I hope this information helps you find the perfect stateroom for your cruise, Amy!

    Keep moving forward!

    Amanda
