I know ride -along boards were previously not allowed in Disney Parks but I saw that in 2023 this rule has changed. Are ride along boards now allowed if you can tuck them away when the stroller is parked?

    Hi Brooke!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney ahead of your magical vacation that begins tomorrow!  As a mom of three, I can honestly say there is nothing quite as memorable as visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a little one!

Brooke, strollers have been essential when we’ve traveled to the parks over the years with our boys.  In fact, there have been times at the end of a long day that I wish I had one for me as well!  While the Security Cast Members at each park have the final say on what’s allowed into the parks, you can find the latest information regarding strollers in the current Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules.  Just after the size restrictions, an additional rule states that "any trailer-like object that is pushed, pulled, or towed by an Electric Conveyance Vehicle, wheelchair, stroller, or person" is prohibited.  Unfortunately, this means the ride-on boards which may be attached to strollers would not be allowed.  I also spoke to a Cast Member to confirm this for you before you left for your trip.  While I know this may not be the news you were hoping to hear, I can share that stroller rental locations are available in each park if needed!

As you’re making your final preparations for your trip, I’d like to also point out one of my favorite theme park planning tools.  On the Walt Disney World Resort website, you can filter attractions by height requirements.  Since my youngest is just one, I can easily review all of the attractions without a height restriction allowing me to know exactly what he can enjoy!  If you’re traveling with other adults or older children as well, don’t forget that Rider Switch is available for select attractions that require riders to meet a certain height.

Brooke, I hope this information has been helpful and that you enjoy a wonderful vacation!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we’re all ears!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
