I know that some resturaunts require a credit card hold, unless on disney dining plan. Can you hold the reservation on the dining plan then pay cash at the resturaunt?

    Hi Michelle,

I'm not aware of any official rule about this, but I'm fairly confident that it would work. I've held reservations at WDW several times with a credit card and then paid the actual bill with another method (cash, gift card, or a different credit card). No one has ever questioned this. As long as you show up at the restaurant, they shouldn't have any preference at all about how you actually end up settling the bill.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
