Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the most iconic attractions at the Happiest Place on Earth. I can see why it’s on your must-do list for your upcoming vacation!
Pirates of the Caribbean is scheduled to close for refurbishment starting May 4, 2026. Cast Members work very hard to keep the magic flowing in our attractions. As a result, refurbishment timelines can vary. No estimated timeline has been shared as of now.
The
Hours & Events Calendar typically shows the schedule up to 6 weeks out. I recommend checking it regularly as your arrival date approaches.
Bonus Tip: Please keep in mind that the
Blue Bayou Restaurant will also be temporarily closing starting on May 4, 2026. It is currently scheduled to reopen in late May. When it reopens, it will offer a modified dining experience while Pirates of the Caribbean’s refurbishment continues.
