Hi Laura!
I'm excited to hear that you're considering attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Both of these parties are among my most favorite special events at Walt Disney World. Of the two, it's nearly impossible to pick a favorite!
Dates and tickets for both of these events are usually announced in late Spring, around the first week of April. Last year, the announcement as a bit earlier, so it's a good idea to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. Often, they'll be the first to announce party dates, ticket sales and party details. Once the tickets are on sale, you can purchase them online at DisneyParks.com or by calling (407) 939-5277.
One of the highlights of
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade. Not only will you see some of your favorite characters masquerading in wonderful costumes, but you'll also see special appearances by popular attraction characters as well. For me, the grave diggers from
The Haunted Mansion are the star attraction. Don't forget to check out the
extra special attraction additions as well.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is just as much fun, too! From snow on Main Street, U.S.A. to twinkling lights draping Cinderella's Castle, you'll be amazed at how the Magic Kingdom is transformed for the holiday. Everywhere you look is a special touch designed to highlight the celebration.
Good luck planning your Fall vacation! Don't hesitate to let the Disney Parks Moms Panel know if we can help with any additional trip details!
