Hello Maria! Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you're making some fun plans to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth! Now is the perfect time to head to Walt Disney World Resort because there are so many new attractions, experiences, and celebrations to enjoy. Between the 50th Anniversary, new incredible nighttime shows like
Disney Enchantment and
Harmonious, and new exciting rides like
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, you just know that you and your party and going to find a new favorite!
While your Guestlist may forever be changing, Walt Disney World Resort and My Disney Experience have you covered! You are correct that
purchased tickets can only be transferred if they are completely unused. However, reassigning tickets should be a breeze as long as they are unused and linked to your
My Disney Experience account.
Maria, I spoke to a Cast Member today and she assured me that tickets can be transferred an unlimited number of times! Now you won't have to worry whether Grandma Coco, Uncle Scar, some ugly stepsisters, or a friendly snowman named Olaf want to join you, you'll be able to transfer those tickets to them!
Once you're in your My Disney Experience account, simply add whomever you want to transfer the ticket to onto your
Family and Friends list. If they are already a part of your list the process is even easier! Just click the three horizontal lines at the bottom of the page and choose "Tickets & Passes." Your tickets will be displayed on this page. Click "Reassign Ticket" once you've found the one you're willing to transfer and choose which friend or family to assign it to.
If you do end up needing to transfer to another Guest the process will be the same and now you'll be a professional at it! No matter who joins you on your next vacation I hope you have an amazing, memorable time!
