Katie,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
I have truly enjoyed my
MagicBand+ band on my recent trips. Even something as simple as how it lights up with colors themed to a particular attraction brings a smile to my face. Think red, white, and blue flashing lights for the colors of the French flag after riding through the streets of Paris on
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. The more involved activities, like the
Batuu Bounty Hunters quest in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, really show how the bands can elevate your theme park experience.
While you can get bands in the stores in the resorts, I find that the park stores typically have broader selections. Even there, the choices vary over time. If you are looking for a specific theme for a band that might tie into an attraction or movie, the stores near those related attractions are the best place to look. Otherwise, for the broadest selection, by park, here is where I would go.
Magic Kingdom: EmporiumEPCOT: Disney Traders, as well as the

Celebrity 5 and 10, across the street
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Discovery Trading CompanyBONUS TIP #1Pairing your new MagicBand+ to your account could not be easier. Just make sure you have the
My Disney Experience App installed on your smartphone, and you will see it offers some simple steps on how to pair the band to your account, as well as how to personalize your settings.
BONUS TIP #2If you have any issues with your MagicBand+ bands while in the parks, just find one of the blue “Guest Experience Team” umbrellas located throughout each park. These folks solved my MagicBand pairing issue in minutes, and I was back to my rides in a snap!
Please feel free to
write me back directly again if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
